Shake your head

Autumn is always a fav with me. Today as I went to Great Wall for the 5th time this year, it is wonderful to see all the reds, yellows and oranges among the green trees. Kind of amazing to see God's love of colours in nature :) But with beauty also comes stuff which makes you frown and shake your head. You would THINK I would be referring to some dirty habit of the locals but NOOOO!!! I am talking abt the yellow haired devils :) As we were leaving Great Wall and driving out of the carpark, the carpark attendant asked if the vehicle in front of us was part of our group. That was because the vehicle sported a license plate from a foreign embassy. Confused, of course we said no. The attendant said the vehicle in front refused to pay carpark charges and just drove off!! I was so disgusted by that!! The charges were a mere RMB5 and they didn't want to pay it? You would think they won't be as stingy as that. Then as we drove back towards the city, we saw the same vehicle again several times driving crazily and cutting into lanes madly and even ignoring the traffic lights a few times! Later today as I was walking home from visiting a fren nearby, I saw a tennis ball fly out from the court in my apartment premise onto the road. I ran the distance to pick it up and then threw it back to the court but the yellow haired idiots didn't even turn an eyelash!! They merely picked up the ball and proceeded to their block. That was rude!! I don't expect profuse THANK YOUs or something but at least a nod of the head in my direction? This is NOT the first time. Previously I went to the tennis court (I had booked the time slot) and found 2 caucasians playing. I called out to them that I had booked the court in english. They (not the same pple as tonight) just stopped playing, picked up their stuff and ignored me totally (altho they passed by me within 1 cm) and went into their car AND DROVE OFF. They didn't even LIVE at the premise and dared to go into the tennis court and play and then walked off as if nothing at all? I don't mean that they should apologise or something but they acted like it was beneath them to smile or even acknowledge my presence? It was the look on their faces rather than their silence that irked me..... I think I am getting bad tempered huh?

What's so interesting abt mummies?

Everyone has their comfort food or favourite past time. I just have comfort movies and I am not crazy abt them or have to watch them over and over again but I just to have them around to play in the background even while I am doing other stuff. Not even crazy abt Brandon Fraser or Rachel Weiss or anyone in the movie and I probably know the darn thing begining to end. It is just one of those with just enuff action, special effects and swashbuckling style to make me grin and just watch it without using my brain. I kind of like the sand stuff :) and for the 2nd time in my life, I like the sequel. The first and only other movie I like which has a good sequel is Indiana Jones and The Mummy is similar to a certain degree although I prefer Harrison Ford any other day. Autumn is here in Bj and the air is cool. Really going to try to enjoy this short period of time before the cold winter sets in. Currently it is sunny, cool and just wonderful for strolls and walkabouts! Look out for more pictures to come for my last autumn in BJ :)
